Firefighting Operations

Training for the Fireline and Beyond

Wildland and structural fires demand precise coordination, rapid response, and specialized flight skills. At SRT Helicopters we prepare pilots and crews for the real conditions they’ll face on the fireline—whether in remote terrain, urban-wildland interface, or during complex emergency responses.

Our aerial firefighting programs combine tactical knowledge, crew coordination, and hands-on training in bucket work, drop accuracy, and interagency ops. We train during the day and at night, under NVGs, with real-world missions in mind.
